Deer stalking (hunting) in the Scottish Highlands, with the opportunity to take two stags, with both Red and Sika available. Highland stag stalking is widely regarded as the pinnacle of British fieldsports, offering you the chance to hunt two animals across varied and challenging ground. The stalking takes place on a 7,000-acre forestry block, around two hours north of Inverness Airport, comprising a mix of open hill and woodland, and providing both technical and more considered stalking.
In addition, guests will have the opportunity to fish for Atlantic salmon and wild trout on local waters, subject to river conditions and time of season. This offers a complementary sporting programme, with time split between the hill and the river according to your preferences and prevailing conditions.
You will stay in a fully catered lodge and be looked after by the Griffin Sporting team. The accommodation is in keeping with what you might expect in the Scottish Highlands, with its own slightly eccentric character. All meals and drinks, including house alcohol, are included, and we are happy to arrange special bottles on request. Depending on the day's plan, you will be offered a cooked breakfast, a packed lunch on the hill or by the river, and a locally sourced three-course dinner in the evening.
This trip is suitable for up to four hunters/rods. Please contact us if you would like to bring observers or additional guests who wish to experience the Highlands.
