6-Day Fully Guided Idaho Mountain Lion Hunt with Hounds. Wolf Combo available.

What to Expect

Enjoy the adrenaline rush of an Idaho Mountain Lion Hunt with Hounds. At daybreak, prepare to snowmobile (or 4x4 vehicles if snow conditions are low) for several miles down logging roads looking for a fresh Mountain Lion track. When found and the Houndsman releases the hounds, the Mountain Lion may tree for you to determine whether to harvest.

• Weapon of your choosing (It's an any weapon season)
• Idaho Hunting License and reduced rate Mountain Lion Tag
• Hunting Clothing (Cold Weather for Snowmobiling)
• Hygiene Kit for Camp Shower
• Camp Leisure Clothing
• Sunglasses
• Hard working, patient, committed attitude
• Big Appetite

Weapon Details

It is an any weapon season. Choose your preferred weapon and make sure you bring all accessories.

Pricing Details

$6,400 + Idaho 6% Sales Tax = $6,784 total. Deposit required to hold your spot is $2,000. Remaining balance is due upon arrival to camp. Price does not include your Idaho Hunting License and Reduced Rate Mountain Lion Tag.

Payment information

• Hunt Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to postpone your hunt, it must be requested 6-months prior to hunt start date. If we can book another hunter, we happily postpone your hunt.
• No credit cards. Cash and checks only

Gratuities

• Customary, but not required
• Guides & Cooks: 15-20% of the hunt price divided amongst Guides & Cooks as you see fit.

Camp/Accommodations

Camp is outfitted with Canvas Wall Tents, Hardwood Floors, Wood Stoves, Twin Beds or Cots with Foam Pads and Lighting, Hot Water Shower Tent, Kitchen/Dining Tent, and Latrine.

Physical Requirements

Must be physically fit. We have some nooks and crannies that are reachable for some physically limited hunters, however the more physically capable you are the more locations we can pursue.

Permit & Tag Application Process

Idaho Hunting License and Tags are available Over-The-Counter (OTC). You will fall under the Outfitter's Hound Hunter Permit.
